“Dance like there’s nobody watching”

There’s this famous quote that contains the words “…dance like there’s nobody watching…” You’ve read it, heard it and might have even followed it but have you watched someone else perform it in action? No? Then, watch the following video. It is not a new one but has the potential to become timeless.

It’ll tickle you like a feather, make the Joker’s question “why so serious?” pointless and lift your mood like a helium-filled balloon!

Mr. Shake-It looks like he is pouring everything he has inside him into those funky moves. The ordinary-looking background of a motel building lends an authentic feel and some ‘lonely boy’ even peeks through the office window at the 0:29 mark. The constant energizing movements of those hips are like battery-operated toys which come to life with the flick of a switch, except here, the switch is an awesome song by ‘The Black Keys‘ that gets stuck in your head. Can’t really blame the dancing dude.

Even though it happened by accident, this could be the best official music video. Ever.

About Dancing Fingers Singing Keypad

This blogger is someone whose fingers itch to dance, coaxing the keypad to sing. For years, I kept saying that writing for me was a mere hobby. And then, just like the lead characters of a typical romantic movie it finally dawned upon me just how much I love this form of art and how I simply cannot live without it. And then we lived happily ever after ... or tried to, for isn't there the following saying? “Writing is torture. Not writing is torture. The only thing that feels good is having written." Originally from India, I reside in California, USA with my husband and little daughter and work as a software engineer. (I’ve got to be practical, the aforementioned love of my life doesn’t pay for food yet and it doesn’t hurt that I enjoy computer programming.) With the title loosely inspired by the Oscar-winning Chinese film “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon“, this blog, “Dancing Fingers, Singing Keypad” welcomes viewers …err… readers to savor the performances of its “characters”.

This is awesome. I only dance like this in front of the wife and kids, and for the purpose of making them lough… Which they do…
